Chelmsford Cemetery Department Using New Technology
One of our member cemeteries is using some innovative technology to help visitors locate grave sites.
SHARON AND KNOLLWOOD MEMORIAL PARKS AWARDED LEVEL 1 ARBORETUM ACCREDITATION

We are very pleased and excited to share with you that Sharon and Knollwood Memorial Parks have been awarded a Level 1 Accreditation by The ArbNet Arboretum Accreditation Program and The Morton Arboretum. This is awarded for achieving particular standards of professional practices deemed important for arboreta and botanic gardens. The ArbNet Arboretum Accreditation Program is the only global initiative to officially recognize arboreta at various levels of development, capacity, and professionalism. Sharon and Knollwood Memorial Parks are also now recognized as an accredited arboretum in the Morton Register of Arboreta, a database of the world’s arboreta and gardens dedicated to woody plants.
The Arboretum Accreditation will provide the opportunity to further define and develop our commitment to the stewardship and betterment of the land and the environment. It will also provide us with additional, meaningful ways to invite the community to share in the beauty of the land by offering educational and informational events to our visitors.
